Our Founder
Megalodon Effects was founded by Chelsea Hernandez Fox, a passionate artist and graduate of the renowned Tom Savini Special Makeup Effects Program. With a background in film, theater, and live events, Chelsea has earned recognition for her award-winning work that blends technical skill with bold creativity. Her vision for the studio grew from a lifelong love of transformation and storytelling, paired with a desire to make professional artistry accessible to a wider audience. As a women- and minority business owner rooted in New Orleans, Chelsea leads with both expertise and community spirit, ensuring every project reflects artistry, precision, and heart.
